Get to Know
Dr. Michelle Chik
Dr. Chik (Formerly Dr. Chung), was born and grew up in Taiwan before moving to Fairfax, VA in high school. She attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree, earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Fitness, and Exercise. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University and completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Chik is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of ABPD and AAPD. She also maintains privileges at NOVA Children's Surgery Center in Fairfax, VA to provide dental care under General Anesthesia when needed.
Dr. Chik founded Little Chik Pediatric Dentistry with a vision to make dental visits a delight for kids, not just a checkup. She's crafted a warm, inviting space where children can't wait to come back, and parents feel truly cared for and understood. Every detail of the practice is designed to spark joy and ease, ensuring kids have a great time while getting top-notch care. When she's not in the office, Dr. Chik enjoys cooking, hiking outdoors, traveling, painting, and spending time with her husband Justin, family, and friends. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and loves connecting with families from diverse backgrounds.
